The Ritz Theatre was opened by 1937. By 1939 it was operated by the Ideal Amusement Co. chain as the Vernon Theatre. The Shade Theatre is listed as operating in the 1950 edition of Film Daily Yearbook. It was operated by the Orban family in the late-1950’s.
