The building was acquired earlier this year by a subsidiary of Omniplex cinemas, who terminated Cineworld’s lease. Last day of operation as a Cineworld is set to be 28th September.
Built on the site of the former Green’s Playhouse, later known as the Apollo (which has its own entry here on Cinema Treasures).
