Harkins Theatres opened the Northfield 18 on April 7, 2006. The theatre features stadium seating, digital porjection, digital sound, expanded snack bar menu and a children’s playroom. The theatre shows first run attractions.

Great experience in a vibrant shopping district, good popcorn, comfortable seats and a big screen (we weren’t in the CineCapri). It takes a lot to impress me, but I’d venture to say this was probably one of the best big multiplexes I’ve been to and I see 4+ films a week in theaters, if only Harkins would come to Eastward….

A friend visiting this area tells me the largest auditorium is named the Cinema Capri (apparently after the beloved late single screener of Arizona).
