The Capri Theatre is located just west of the City Square. It was opened in 1965 as a replacement to the Star/Iowa Theatre, destroyed by fire in 1958 (which has its own page of Cinema Treasures). It is community owned and operated by a group of volunteers. They run movies shorty after their initial release at family affordable prices. Their web site has some really nice photos of the theatre.

My grandparents only live about 20 miles away from this theater but I haven’t found time to actually go in but I have driven by. I saw Aladdin there and I recall the theater being quite nice on the inside with beautiful red curtains.
