The ABC Cinema is one of the old style adult cinemas, which once operated in almost every major city centre worldwide.
It opened, possibly in the 1960’s and has changed very little. 35mm film is still used (where most adult cinemas now operate with video or DVD). Battered well worn copies of classic porn films are screened to a appreciative & regular audience (mainly straight, but also some gay men). During the breaks between films, live strip-tease is performed on the stage.
New seats with cup-holders were installed in 2007, supplied by the Kinepolis chain. The ABC Cinema was closed around summer of 2013.

Has it closed? It was shut up in July and when I returned in December. One of the poster display cases on the wall had been pulled off, no doubt by an eager souvenir hunter, like tomb robbers in Egypt.
