This opened on July 9th, 1950 and closed in 1954. It was half a mile out of town on Hwy 77 south. It’s grand opening ad can be found in the photo section for this theatre.
This may be the oldest visible remains of any drive-in in the US. Closed in 1954, you can still see the outline and ramps over 60 years later.
