No time line when the Plaza Twin Cinema opened but it closed somewhere around 2000. It is now a restaurant called Pizza Inn.

On April 11 2009, Chuck 1231 posted a picture of this theater under the Jonesboro Twin Cinema in the Cinema Treasures Georgia page. You can go to the Cinema Treasures Georgia page and click on Jonesboro Twin Cinema and scroll down to find the picture.

My goof. The Georgia listing is Jonesboro Twin Theater.

Personally, I would prefer smaller theatre name and larger marquee,but that is me.
