The Park Theater opened on June 15, 1950. Originally seating 584, all on a single sloping floor. There was a cry room and a party room, each located on the side of the projection booth a second floor level.

It was announced in September 2025 that the Park Theater would be closing in November 2025.

According to their Facebook page, the Park went digital on January 30, 2015.
