Probably the Tecumseh Drive-In benefited from being close to Shawnee, but was a typical small town drive-in, simple & plain in design. Folks from all around came to watch double features (plus a color cartoon) in an outdoor setting. The Tecumseh Drive-In was under construction in 1952/1953 and opened on October 21, 1953. It was operated by Video Independent Theatres. It was closed and demolished in 1962.
