Parkview Theater

The Parkview Theater opened on July 1, 1966 with Bob Hope in “Boy, Did I Get a Wrong Number”. It was operated by the Interstate Theatres Inc. circuit. It was closed in the late-1980’s/early-1990’s.

The Parkview was opened in 1966. A few photos of it accompanied an article about in the February 20, 1967, issue of Boxoffice. The theater was designed by Irving R. Klein & Associates, Houston. The Parkview had 868 seats, and was operated by the Interstate circuit.

Saw Gremlins in 84, Weird Science in 85, Fatal Attraction in 87 (it was a Dollar Cinema then)

It closed sometime in the late 80s to very early 90s.

The Interstate Parkview theatre opened on July 21st, 1966. Grand opening ad posted.
