AMC Weston 8

Among the last theaters built by Wometco Enterprises, the 8 at Weston brought the movies to the new far-western reaches of Broward County on October 7, 1988. Later independent owners have continued to serve the local (primarily family) audience.

In 2015 it was taken over by AMC.

AMC recently acquired this theater.

AMC has recently completed a major renovation of this theater in which they installed recliners, expanded the concession stand, and added a MacGuffins bar.

This opened on October 7th, 1988. Grand opening ad in the photo section.
