Cinema I opened on December 25, 1971. It became Cinema Twins in 1974. In late-1982 it was renamed Duffy’s Twin Theatres

In 1983, a third screen had been added and the name was changed to Duffy’s Cinema 3. It was closed on April 12, 1987 and demolished soon after.

Now, in its place, stands a strip mall, featuring popular ice-cream and burger joint, Jerry’s Food Emporium.

Prior to re-opening as “Cinema Twins”, I believe this theatre was called “Cinema One”.
