The Opera House was opened by 1918. Blue Moon Theater was opened on October 19, 1934 with Warren William in “The Case of the Howling Dog” & Ken Maynard in “Come On, Tarzan”, and was still open in 1950, but closed by 1951.. The former home of the Blue Moon Theatre remains standing as of 2009, although there are no visible signs that it was ever a movie theater.

From google maps comes this modern street view of the former Blue Moon Theatre, located accross from Smith Office Supply,

On 1918 Fire insurance maps, this building is shown as an Opera House. In 1928 its represented as a lodge hall and a small movie theater with stage is shown at the second storefront north of Creek on the E. side of Main. The small theater was not present in 1918 and is gone by the 1951 map.
The Blue Moon Theater opened its doors on October 19, 1934 with “The Case Of The Howling Dog” and “Come On, Tarzan” along with an unnamed technicolor cartoon.
