Opened on July 19, 1996 as the Famous Players Westhills. The Famous Players Westhills was an older style multiplex with sloped floors and small seats. In 2005, Cineplex took over Famous Players. Since then, Cineplex have installed four theaters with Christie DLP projectors with one of them have Reel D 3D technology.

On July 16, 2009, Cineplex announced the Westhills cinemas will be converted into a stadium seating theater with an expanded box office. The auditoriums will have higher sightlines and reclining seatings made by Seating Concepts. On September 24, 2009, the theater was renamed as Cineplex Odeon Westhills.

I left Plitt before the guys from Canada bought them out.I wonder how they were to work for.

This opened on July 19th, 1996 and reopened on July 25th, 2013. Both grand opening ads in the photo section.
