The Roxy Theatre was opened on December 24, 1929. By the early-1940’s it was operated by the Western Theaters Ltd. chain. It was closed in 1960 and became a Bowling Alley (Roxy Lanes), which had closed by 2022. It has been converted into apartments.

Opened 24 Dec 1929 with 1200 seats.Architect Max Blankstein.Closed May 1960 and became bowling alley which has now closed.

Facade remains and the rest of the building now contains apartments.
