Originally opened as Movies 1-2-3, the Sumter Value Cinemas were once operated by GTC. In February 1995 it was taken over by Carmike Cinemas.

Last operated by an independent as a discount house, it was closed on October 25, 2009, with "G-Force", "District 9" and "G.I. Joe".
