The Feb. 6, 1961 Modern Theatre section of Boxoffice magazine included a lengthy article about the process of moving the Post Oak three miles north of its original location. It included several photos, including this “before” image of the screen tower mural. It was repainted as the duck previously uploaded here.
It appears that 1961 issues of Boxoffice are in the public domain.
