The AMC Mansell Crossing 14 opened on June 24, 1994, just as construction on the nearby North Point Mall was being completed. Since it opened, it has always been owned by AMC. It was closed on June 3, 2019.
It reopened in January 2022 as the Studio Movie Grill - North Point.

AMC’s Mansell Crossing 14 was featured on the cover of the September, 1994, issue of Boxoffice. In addition, an article about the house starts on this page of the same issue. The multiplex was designed by the architectural firm Gould Evans Associates.
This is the first stadium-seating theater in the state of Georgia, if I recall correctly. 21 years later, it’s still doing business.

Studio Movie Grill is moving forward with plans to open a new dine-in movie theater on North Point Parkway. The new theater would replace the former AMC Mansell Crossing 14 which closed June 3 after nearly 25 years in business.
This movie theater reopened in January 2022 as the Studio Movie Grill - North Point.

I was part of the opening crew back in 1994. Being the first theater with stadium seating it was very cool…and busy. Good times.
