Opened by Rand Theatres on March 15, 1988 as the Movies at Buffalo Creek with four screens, two more were added around 2001, the smallest cinema became the Star Bar, screening films and sporting events.
The Buffalo Creek 6 was closed in April 2010.

The BUFFALO CREEK 6 is now CLOSED. Their website claims:
Buffalo Creek now rides off into the sunset, 18+ years of bringing movies & memories to Waxahachie. It was real……

I guess the NEW ShowBiz Theatre took the biz away from them..

According to Box Office Magazine, this venue opened as Rand Theatres Circuit’s first Texas location on March 15, 1988. It definitely launched as a Rand Theatre but no confirmation of date.
