The Dixie Drive-In was opened by 1955 when it was operated by Commonwealth Theatres Ct. It looks like the Dixie Drive-In was already closed in 1984. Capacity was 250 cars.

The above address will map more accurately to the entrance of the drive-in, which is visible on Google Earth using historic aerial imagery.

I Stand corrected, the older pictures at USGS Earth Explorer shows the whole area undeveloped.
