BTW most of the entrance still exists between shopping centers on Broad St.
Opened onn8/8/1947 with “Up in Mable’s room” and “A night in Casablanca”.
The Feb. 11, 1974 issue of Boxoffice had an extensive article with photos about the extreme concession stand remodeling that Chakeres Theatres has performed on the Holiday beginning in late 1970.
Opened as a twin Drive-In on 7/2/1975, running STRONGEST MAN IN THE WORLD, BROTHER OF THE WIND & PAINT YOUR WAGON on screen 1 and FREEBIE AND HE BEAN AND SCARECROW on screen 2.
Opened as the National Drive In (for being on the National Road) on 8/8/1947.
Lincoln Village Plaza is west of I-270. The Holiday was east of I-270 at approximately the location of the Consumer West shopping center.
Here is a 1987 photo. The theater was still open at that time.
