The Lyric Theatre opened in 1925. Seating was listed at 557. By 1941 the Lyric Theatre was operated by Paramount Pictures Inc. through their subsidiary E.J. Sparks. It was later operated by Florida State Theatres.
Closed in 1951, it has been demolished and retail now operates from the site.

Update the status to “Demolished”. The building which currently in habits this spot was built specifically for retail and within the past 20 years.
