The Ritz Theatre opened in 1930. Seating was listed at 400. I could not find the owner information on this theatre. This was an African American Theatre.
The Ritz Theatre closed in 1955.

Just added three images of the Ritz Theatre made on 3-10-2014 while on a history tour with Glenn Chavis, a beloved historian and writer in the High Point Community. High Point University students have worked with Glenn and others in the community to help fill in historical records of the Washington Drive neighborhood along with Professor Paul Ringel.
