The 327-seat Liberty Theatre was opened prior to 1932. It was listed as (Closed) in 1941 with 421 seats. The Joy Theatre was open by 1943. Seating was listed at 300. It was in the middle of the block between 5th Street and Page Avenue and before re-numbering was at 415 S. Main Street.
The Joy Theatre closed in in the late-1950’s and is now used for retail.(3-Bees Emporium).

This building located at 424 S.Main in Malvern, Arkansas once housed the Joy Theater. Prior to that it was the Liberty Theater. The addresses were changed in 1960. Prior to that the address was 415 S.Main.
