Opened in 1934, on the corner of Main Street and Carlyle Street. The Regent Theatre was operated by Gore Pictures Ltd. in 1951. It was closed in 1967.
From 1967 to 1987 the theatre was used as Church of Christ.
Since 1987 the theatre has remained unused.
