Located in the north-eastern Victoria town of Wangaratta. Her Majesties Theatre was opened in 1921 with 240 seats. It was closed in 1933, and was enlarged in March 1934 to seat 644. There were 240 in the stalls and 404 in the circle.
It re-opened in September 1934 as the Plaza Theatre. The Plaza Theatre continued until 1951, when the auditorium was re-built, with a seating capacity of 775. It was operated by North Eastern Theatres Property Ltd. The projectionist was John Fundack and the projectors were equipped with Simplex projector heads. It had a large projection box.
It had closed by 1978, and became a roller skating rink. In early-2010, it is in use as a beauty shop.
