The Pendale Cinemas 1 & 2 was opened by Canadian Theatres on March 31, 1976 with Jack =Nicholson in “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” & Sean Connery in “Robin and Marion”. It was closed on September 29, 1996. Cineplex Odeon owned this theater which had 395 seats in Cinema 1 and 298 seats in Cinema 2.
The Pendale 1 & 2 Cinemas is still standing today.

I was the Manager of the Pendale when it closed. Actually it was a very successful $1.25 theatre at that time. Theatre was actually located at 210 Glendale Ave. in south St. Catharines across from the Pen Centre, not downtown. The cinema was opened by Canadian Odeon. Anything further I can add let me know. I will try ti find an old pic as well to post
