The Mode Theatre was built inside a building constructed in 1886. The building was called the Crockery which sold pottery. The 614-seat Mode Theatre opened on November 21, 1936 with Gene Autry in “Ride Ranger, Ride”. The building reverted back to retail after closing as a movie theatre on January 1, 1957. It is now the home to Shapes & More.
