Only came here once to watch “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes” in 2014. A real shame it couldn’t survive the digital conversion. Seemed like a really nice “dollar” theater and I wish I had come here more often to watch 2nd run movies, the Venture Cinema is a worthy successor but too far out of my way.

This theater closed March 2015. Second run movies in Gwinnett County now show at Venture Cinema 12 in Duluth.

I do recall that theatre. It was the first one I saw movies at when I was very young. The only thing I remember specific about it is I think it only had 4 theatres.

I remember seeing Mr. Mom there.

I’m old.

Hey i got a question. There was an old movie theatre that used to be where Phoenix High School is now. I remember seeing True Lies there back in the hayday. This theatre is not listed on this site. I’m sure the locals will have more information on it. Only thing i can think off is that maybe its listed under a different city. It used to be in the far back of the parking lot. During its last years, most people wouldn’t even know there was a theatre back there. Parking lot was very big and empty.

Yes i remember the Mardi Gras next door. Good memories. This place is great to watch horror movies. The atmosphere of the place and rooms just seems very spooky and creepy. This is due to the old nature of the place.

No that closed many years ago. If I recall correctly it was some “finance” company for a while but now that space is empty.

I was talking with a booth tech type at the theatre I work at now. He said it was originally a Litchfield

Was home and saw “Death at a Funeral” for $1.99 with my Mom about a month ago. Not a bad place for the ticket price, decent crowd, probably was a state-of-the-art first run 10-plex in the ‘90’s.

My son Sean worked at EVANS STADIUM 14.It was 12 screens when it opened and became Stadium seating when Regal opened a 20 plex about 8 miles away.
