Opened in October 1949, the Skylark Drive-In was located in, what was at that time, the outskirts of town. There was a seating area in front of the screen for walk-in patrons, and there was a childrens playgound.

Ken, it was owned by a H.Smith in 1956.

Site is currently occupied by Cinema Flea Market, and the back lot appears to be a scrap yard for junk cars.

The trade press reports a grand opening of this venue on July 7, 1950.
