Sometime between October 2018 and April 2021 the marquees were taken down. In fact, most of the items on the property were removed.

The Princess was at one time a hard-top theatre which opened in 1926 with a seating capacity of 200. It was later expanded to accommodate 330 in 1934. The theater was destroyed by fire on April 13, 1965. The Princess Drive-In came into being at a later date.

Thanks Andy.i enjoy your finds and pictures.Our friend Nick in Tampa I bet has Hundreds of pictures of Flordia Drive-ins.I have stacks of them.hope one day he can put a lot of them on.

I’ll swing down there in the next few months and get some pictures of this one, the Graves in Perry, and the Chief in Chiefland.
