The East Side Drive-In opened June 2, 1948 with Loretta Young in “The Farmer’s Daughter”. It had a car capacity of 550 cars. It was owned and operated by Fourth Avenue Amusements until 1975. United Artists took over operations of the Ozoner at that time.
The East Side Drive-In closed on September 19, 1987 and was demolished. Goodrich Theatres built the Eastside 10 Cinemas on the former site of the Drive-In.
