The Tangerine Theatre was built in 1926, but didn’t open on what was then Tangerine Avenue until December 10, 1928 with “High School Hero”. It lasted only a few years before going dark. The theatre building may have remained around until circa 2002, but most of that block has since been demolished and left as a field. Urban renewal at its finest!
