15 year lease was up, and they didn’t renew due to poor business and the mall being a ghost town. Some seats will end up in the Hollywood 10 in St. Joseph, MO. Total complex seat count at time of closure: 4,043
moviebuff82, I think I read that the entire mall is going the way of other malls that have failed. Its pretty much vacant

The Regal St.Louis Mills Stadium 18 was designed by Kansas City architectural firm TK Architects.
Went back here during a brief visit home in April 2011 for a matinee of “Madea’s Big Happy Family.” Once again, pretty big for a Regal.
This is my favorite theater in the Saint Louis area and I have never observed any hooliganism – though I rarely go on weekends. Like so many Saint Louis theatres, it is a bit of a drive to get to, so I would find it hard to believe it would be that much of a magnet, but I suppose it is possible.
Only went here once in 2004 to see “King Arthur”. Place wasn’t bad for a Regal. Reports from hometown indicate that this theatre is a magnet for teenage hooligans.
