Located in the centre of Port-au-Prince, next to the French Embassy. The Rex Theatre was opened in 1935.
In November 2009, it was taken over by the Ministry of Culture to be rehabilitated, together with the Cine Triomphe.

The address Rue Champ-de-Mars is not correct, the new address goes right to the theater.
