Opened as the McCinema and was in operation by at least 1998. Seating was listed at 1,020 for this six screen cinema. The smallest auditorium seated 110 and the largest seated 250. The theatre was operated by May Theatres from opening until 2007 when it came under the Landmark Theatres banner. The theatre featured first run attractions. It was closed November 7, 2018.

May Theatres (1984) Ltd. was the previous owner of the theatre when it was the McCinema (as noted above), before Landmark took over. May Theatres is a regional chain with holdings in Alberta and Saskatchewan, centered around the May Cinema Centre in Lloydminster.
