Opened by Cineplex Odeon in 1998, it was initially named the Grande @ Medicine Hat Mall. After renovations were made in 2005 the name was changed to Galaxy Cinemas Medicine Hat. The auditoriums range from 118 to 220 seats with a total seating of 1,456. The theatre features first run attractions.
