AMC Classic Windsor Square 7

This theater, which is part of the Windsor Square Shopping Center, has been Knoxville’s very popular "Dollar Movie" second-run house since it opened June 2, 1989.

As neither parent company have been willing to renovate this cash cow, it is still decorated in its original day-glo orange, purple, black and green color scheme – with neon accents, of course! Incredibly tacky, and now rather shabby (they really could use new screens), but the eye-melting decor is starting to take on a "vintage" appeal out of sheer persistence!

There are pictures of it on its page at CinemaTour: http://www.cinematour.com/tour/us/3534.html I am not surprised to read there that it was previously a Cinemark house as it is very similar to a theater that company built in Willoughby Hills, OH.
