The Garland Theater was located in SW Little Rock on W. 29th Street at Asher Avenue. This neighborhood theater was opened June 8, 1948 and closed in 1955.
It was torn down to make a parking lot for a new Safeway grocery store on Asher Avenue just west of the "Y intersection" of Roosevelt Road and Wright Avenue.
