By 1955 the Cavalier Drive-In was one of two drive-in theatres operating in Elkton, VA., the other was the smaller Blue Ridge Drive-In. They were both owned by Valley Entertainments, later by Roth Theatres. The Cavalier Drive-In was still open in 1963 but had been demolished by 1984.

Thanks Chuck.
This drive-in was located at Mount Hermon Rd and Rockingham Pike. It is the open field between East Rockingham High School and Upper Room Church.
Please update.
It was actually located ON the site of Upper Room Church, approximate address is 14890 Rockingham Pike, Elkton, VA 22827.
The Cavalier judging by aerial is a very unique looking drive-in. The screen is located next to the exit ramps rather than the front-center of the traces like other drive-ins.
Its still open in 1963 but was already demolished by 1984.
