Today, there is very little left of the drive-in. Amenity Plant Products sits across from the old entrance road. You can just see the curved road outline of the entrance and where it connects to Mt. Pleasant Road.
The foundation of the concession stand/projection booth is still present. There is a small structure, possible a shed, that sits on part of the foundation.
Otherwise, the property is so overgrown with trees that only part of the outline still exists and the exit road which connected to Brinkerton Road is completely gone.
Taken over by Cinemette Corporation of America in April 1972.
Grand opening ad in the photo section.
This place use to show pornos in the 70’s on Saturday nights. Then they stopped only after a few years. I remeber it was a big no no. Those were different times. Gotta love the good old days.

The Rustic Drive-in was located on Mt Pleasant Road just past the Westmoreland County Fairgrounds on the opposite side of the road approximately ¼ mile. There is nothing left on the site.
There’s a great photo of the Rustic marquee in the book from the Images Of America series: “Norvelt: A New Deal Subsistence Homestead”.
this wasn’t called the Odin Drive-in.I have that listed in my 1956 Motion Picture Alamanac.
This one was near the intersection of Mt. Pleasant Road (SR 2021) and Brinkerton Road.
In 1967 I found it listed as being in Norvelt.
Could use an address or crossroad, more info and photos always welcome.
