Nearby Theaters
A short-lived drive-in serving the Houghton Lake and West Branch area. It appears to have been a replacement for the 55-Hi Drive-In on the other end of town, which closed around the same time. The projection equipment was recycled from the Bay Drive-In in Pinconning.
The Northwoods Drive-In closed in the mid-1980’s and was used by Maple Valley Truss until around 2024 when the site was unused and the screen was still standing.

Maple Valley Truss is a Prudenville address, so the drive-in was indeed in Prudenville.
This does map properly. The lot is to the east of this address.

This is the address of the truss company.
As of December 2024, Maple Valley Truss Co is out of business and the property is listed as up for sale. The screen appears to still be standing, as of a 2024 google view, but it’s condition is undetermined.
