Opened with ten screens on May 10, 1996 under the United Artists banner, it became a Regal theater after they took over the UA chain. It closed in 2010 when a new and larger megaplex with stadium seating opened nearby.
It reopened in 2012 as the latest in the Texas-based Studio Movie Grill chain with upscale food and beverage service, showing movies on nine screens and with 1,300 fewer seats.

This theater has been completely revamped, and Studio Movie Grill has been open since 2012. It features first rate facilities including full food and beverage service as you watch. This is no longer closed for remodeling, it is open for business!
