The Wildhorse Stadium Cinemas was built in 2005 at a cost of more than 2.6 million with 6 screens. It is operated by Metropolitan Theatres, it is a free standing building featuring all stadium seating seating, digital sound, 3D and first run attractions.
This is one of two theatres in Steamboat Springs with the other being the Chief Plaza Theatre which is scheduled to become a performing arts center. That would make the Wildhorse Stadium Cinemas the exclusive motion picture theatre in Steamboat Springs.
The Wildhorse Stadium Cinemas closed as a full-time movie theatre on January 30, 2025 and reopened on February 14, 2025 as a live performance venue & movie theatre, renamed Wildhorse Cinema + Arts. It is operated by Undiscovered Earth.

If you go to the Map it shows the Southeastern United States. The best bet is to go to the theater on the Website and Click on Map & Directions. I did try that address on Map & Directions on Google Map and it would not work for me??
