Located in the Lincoln Center. The Elinor Bunin Munroe Film Center was opened June 17, 2011. It consists of the 144-seat Francesca Beale Theater and the 87-seat Howard Gilman Theater. There is also an 87-seat amphitheater and a cafe.
The opening movie was “Page One: Inside The New York Times” which played in both houses. The building was designed by David Rockwell & the Rockwell Group.

apparently the restoration done on the bluray edition of ‘Ben Hur’ is having a digital projection presentation at the Alice Tully Hall this coming Saturday (as part of the New York Film Festival) – October 1st.
