No, the Sundown was located on the north side of Columbia, the Dan Dee was located on the south side. Both theaters were in operation for several years.

The Dan Dee was named after me and my twin sister.
I just posted a souvenir of this theater dated 1950 celebrating its one year anniversary – making 1949 as the start date, I think
