The Plaza Movieplex 9 was operated by Cinema North Corporation, opening on May 19, 1995. It was taken over by Flagship Cinemas on December 17, 2009.
It was closed on March 16,2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It was announced in June 2021 that the closure would be permanent.

This opened as the Plaza Movieplex on May 19th, 1995. It closed in October 2009 and reopened by Flagship Theatres on December 17th, 2009 after some upgrades.
Flagship closed its location in Rutland on March 16, 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The theatre subsequently disconnected its phone and the circuit decided to make the closure permanent in 2021.
As of June 2026, the former theater is now a Planet Fitness.
