Theatre Ria

This bisoscoop Rex is one of many (about 20) bioscopen ( Rio. Radja etc)in Indonesia that my grandfather had. His name was Frederik Meijer. I used to go to this bisoscoop , free of course, all the time when I was about 6 years old. My mother was the director of this bioscoop. Outside would be many wagons selling coconut sweets. I was born in 1949 so at 1955 this bisoscoop was there already so it started quite a few years before your date of 1960. It was probably more like 1950.

The ground floor probably is a car park for the patrons of the restaurant,not as a garage as I written in the above introduction of the former Theatre Ria.
