Regal Edwards Market Place Stadium 10

The Market Place 10 opened in time for Thanksgiving (November 19) of 1998. The theater is across the street from the Edwards Tustin Market Place 6, a non-stadium venue, which played moveovers and smaller films, and closed on October 7, 2012 (it has its own page on Cinema Treasures). In 2011 the Market Place Stadium was doing surprisingly well and the 2007 opening of the AMC 14 at the District in Tustin has made little or no difference. This is probably because of the easy in and out parking for locals who don’t want to drive three more miles and navigate the traffic and walking at the District.

The Market Place has over 100 stores and services nearby, ranging from the big boxes to the smaller shops. If you like to eat before or after the movie, there are around 37 restaurants nearby, ranging from Starbucks to California Pizza. You like books also? No problem. Barnes and Noble is within walking distance.

This is a pretty nice theater with a charming Edwards lobby, it just needs some new seats. Very low traffic compared to some other multiplexes in the area, but that may change with a new Irvine Company apartment complex being built right next door. Not a bad place to see movies, but AMC Tustin 14 down the road is a better facility if you don’t have a chain preference.
