Opened as the Park Lane 8 by Famous Players on October 28, 1988. Empire Theatres took over operations of the 2,400 plus seat theatre in June 2004. The theatre features stadium seating, automated box offices, Real Deal Tuesdays and first run attractions.
It was taken over by Cineplex in late-2013.

I’ve uploaded three new photos I was able to take with my iPod Touch. Sorry for the less-than-ideal quality, but I figured that any photos would be better than none.
This will be part of the Cineplex Entertainment chain late 2013.
As Mike said, it’s now Cineplex Cinemas Park Lane.
I’ve added two opening newspaper ads from October 1988 to the photos section.
